1. Improper Slope
If your gutters are at an improper angle or slope, usually it means that there is or has been unnecessary weight in your gutters. There are multiple different reasons why your gutters are improperly sloped such as a clog in your gutters, rotting in the fascia, missing fastener, etc.
2. Paint Peeling or Rust is forming.
If there is paint chips found on the ground underneath your gutters, there could be parts of your gutter exposed which could cause rust to form. If water is overflowing from the sides of your gutters, most likely your gutters are clogged and not able to drain properly.
